very very interesting...
This evening one of the neighborhood boys rode his scooter down our street chanting "Down Obama! Go McCain!" at the top of his lungs. This probably was the result of the fact that the kids at the local elementary school had a mock election at lunchtime. What was interesting to me wasn't the fact that he was saying "Go McCain" or even that he seemed to exhibit such political fervor. What was interesting was the fact that, when questioned why he voted for McCain at school, he began his line of reasoning with "My parents said..."

amazing sometimes how much our kids parrot us. sometimes its scary and sometimes i think we think, where did they hear that..and we open our mouth and go oh yeah...man why do they watch us so closely sometimes you know? ! :) and yet sometimes it seems they don't ever even pay attention..what a web we weave...
