I'm just terrible...

For the umpteenth time in a row, I've forgotten my niece and nephews' birthdays. I tend to do this each year and realize in a panic a few weeks after their date. Granted, they are now 18 and 16 and could probably care less that I forgot. Still, I feel bad because my sister-in-law recognizes my kids' special day on the appropriate day! It's hard enough remember all the insider birthdays and special holidays (Teacher Appreciation Week?  Father's Day? Mother's Day? Valentine's Day? Grandparents Day? Husband, children and sibling Birthdays... anyone?!) *sigh*

My 18-year-old niece (the one who's birthday I... um... forgot) is graduating high school next month, so I actually have been thinking about her. Anyone have any cool ideas for a graduation gift? Mark and I want to do something special for her and not just hand her money. Anyone? Anyone?

is she going off to college? you could put together a fun care package in a basket with some things like soaps and lotions and maybe towels...or you could do a laundry basket with laundry soap, and a really cute jar full of quarters...

or just a really cool bag/purse

My mom got me a necklace that i loved...

Like the idea of a laundry basket and jar full of quarters... She's going to Southwestern in Georgetown.

Thank you for the ideas!!
